- Talk and get help from someone else about your situation, you should never go through this alone.
- Change your email password immediately.
- Enable multi-factor authentication to protect your account if not enabled already.
- Notify your contacts to ignore suspicious messages from your account.
- Check for changes in your account information and settings. Sometimes an attacker could set email forwarding to still receive your emails from their account, if this is enabled, remove it.
- If they have your information, you might risk having your identity stolen.
